To me shop your closet is the difference between wining and losing the 52-Week Money Challenge!
Shop your closet is going literally into your closet, drawers, chest, bins, storage, the bags your hiding in your cart that you forgot to bring down, or packages you got in the mail and hide in your home and forgot that you had.
Wear what you own do not buy anything else!
You need to go through all your things. OMG… how do I know these things =)!
You then WEAR the clothing, shoes, bags, and jewelry in your closet or that you own.
This concept is pretty amazing and so simplistic! The crazy part is we don’t do this as often as we need to.

My question is why don’t we do this? Why do we continue to buy, buy, and buy? Why is it that when it’s in the store we need it, and when it’s in your house we will leave it in the bag we bought it in and not give it a second thought? As women we spend most of our time shopping ,online shopping, or thinking about shopping! All these things that we have bought that were expensive because they were going to last where are they?

Where are the expensive shoes you bought because they were a better quality then the affordable ones because they were going to last? How many times have you worn them? The bigger question is how many pairs of shoes do you own and when was the last time you wore them? Ladies we spend thousands and tens of thousands of dollars on our wardrobe. I am not saying don’t ever shop again.
Sacrilege! That would be unrealistic for anyone to ask that in my opinion.

What I am saying is choose to save your money and not spend it because you have plenty.
Do you have clothes in your closet with tags?

Use that dress you bought for a wedding wore once place a blazer over it and wear it to work.

Fashion is what you make it! You spent your hard work money on it you better wear it!
